Sometimes things go a little too far when trying to grab the "shock value" for somethings, cards included. Not my cup of tea there, but there's a fine line between what these cards are saying and what can be construed as funny. Personally I don't take them as funny, find them rather offensive, but to each there own I guess.

"Wrong" doesn't even begin to cover it... and what's worse than someone actually creating this site is the popularity they've clearly managed to garner. It bothers me more that people aren't horrified by this than it does that someone even thought of creating those cards.

One of these days people are going to have to wake up and realize that "humor" like this is corrosive. Just looking at it causes brain damage. How much more of this can our society withstand?

This I will have to admit was a pretty horrid attempt to be humorous. There will always be "off-limits" sort of subjects, but seriously, if someone wants to state something in a politically-incorrect matter, do it properly. Leave innocent people out of it and don't reference anything that involves destructive, violent, or degrading behavior directed at such people.

I don't understand why people would think that such subjects are funny when in fact it's degrading to women in particular. The way I see it, it's mostly men that are doing the ruining of our society and really the whole world, so this is just bad on many levels.

There's a time and a place to be un-P.C., but this isn't it.

well, that is not a good idea, it's degrading for the part of he women. For other people, they may find it funny or something, but as a whole this is should not supposed to be. It's already beyond the limits.

There is always someone out there who thinks offensive things are funny. Just an example is rotten.com they get alot of traffic, but the whole site is gross

Rape is NOT funny. I have been date raped. But that is obviously satire. We survive trauma with a sense of humor, and satire is about showing us the world beneath the veneer. I see that picture as saying 'be careful, harmless invitations are not what they seem'. I don't see a celebration of rape=funny there at all. I looked over the site and the whole mess of it screams satire from top to bottom. I'm astounded by some of the posts here.

Why is this filed under the 'violence against women' category? Are men incapable of being drugged? I call that a sexist assumption right there, i know a dude who was drugged and molested as a teenager but watching you assume that picture is targeting women makes me sick.. And Simone S. is right - that IS obvious satire. If the site calls for violence on anything it's violence on clowns, but i don't see anyone here rushing to the defense of a profession of entertainers. C'mon they have a category on zombies. Satire! When you see satire, it means the OPPOSITE is true!

I agree with the last comment. This should be filed under the category of abusive comedy or something to that nature. I am a guy...so I looked at the picture and thought...thats an interesting public service announcement to raise the awareness of date rape. Then I noticed all of the well put together words and phrases surrounding the "card" or whatever. I didn't see it as funny. There are many comedians who are more into providing shock value and seem to forget about comedy itself. There is one other thing I noticed. You are saying that this type of card is bad and upset by it. I would have to assume you would not want this type of card to ever be allowed to be created. To me that is a direct conflict of your wanting to abolish censorship. Another thing noticed would be this... If someone were to hand this card to a person, I doubt the person handing it would plan on actually date raping them because that might give away their sick plan. What the hell fun would it be to have sex with someone sleeping anyway? (Tries really hard to hold back an inside joke about the last statement.)
