Greetings y'all,
I think it is a statement on not only where the main stream media thinks our heads are but also that it has become their job to point us in that mindless direction at every opportunity. What has really stunned me these past few days is the response from ordinarily progressive minded women regarding the selection of Palin as the repub vp hopeful. Women are biting all over the pond at the repubs shiny new "it's a woman" lure. Critical thinking is being hopelessly hooked by the lip...it is a sad thing to witness, I think Palin is being used by the same ideology she subscribes to rather than this being an evolutionary leap in consciousness on the right. I think it is a pretty good bet she is not on the ticket to disagree with their platform.

I like Michelle. She is one of the influential women that I look up too. Her fashion statement is something that's natural. But people are trying to make big deal on her fashion scents which is not really necessary.
