    I saw the video when it first came out, and although it'd pretty commical, it's a very possible glimpse at what the future may hold. There's so much election fraud, it's difficult to say who will become the next president.

    Maybe not my place to say as I'm not actually US citizen but if I didn't know your post is about possible next US president I'd almost think I was reading about elections in some... well let's say not so developed country. I find it unbelievable that such position, on something that should be considered to be one of the basic rights of a woman, can be actually found and that it apparently has huge number of supporters. 'Pro life' phrase in such context takes hypocrisy to the whole new level there... remarkable. Ending rant now and my apologies if I was out of line.

    While I can't say I'll ever go around advocating abortion ... I certainly will "stand up" for a woman's right to have control over her own body. To me saying a woman cannot choose what is right for her is like telling someone of a different race to move to the back of the bus. Nothing will ever make that right.

    Although I don't stand by McCain as our president because I think he is making some very rash decisions in his campaign, I stand by his abstinence only education. Should we eliminate birth control? No. But we need to teach our kids birth control isn't a pill or some other physical aid, instead it is the choice you make. Birth Control starts the minute you decide your standards, and no one is taking that right to chose away from women. We as women fought so many years ago to gain the right to chose not the right to be excused from the outcomes of our choice.

    Abstinence only is garbage. Abstinence only DOES NOT teach anything about birth control. When a teacher refuses to explain what the pill is, when a pharmacist refuses to dispense the pill, when girls are held to higher standards and ostracized, then their choice is taken away from them. McCain is trying to eliminate a girl's (as well as a woman's) access to affordable, safe birth control. There is nothing safe about Abstinence Only education. Read this article.

    I'd just like to say as a man who supports women's rights, this is horrible. I don't understand anyone who thinks women shouldn't have a choice in what to do with their body or have the ability to have medical help when making that choice.

    In countries where abortion is illegal, women find other means to end their pregnancy which is far less healthy. This results in more women deaths and more abandoned children. This is NOT something the United States should have to face.

    Hi Holly - you know I need to comment here! :^) Yes - he's wrong to deny women access to birth control. However, you keep talking about the woman's choice when it comes to abortion. Who gets to choose for the unborn? Don't they have the right to life just as a woman does? It is a living being with a heart, brains, fingers, toes, body, etc. Why should a woman who gets pregnant because she was careless get to choose whether or not that baby lives or dies? This does not include the ones who have no control - such as in the case of rape..this is those women who don't think before jumping in the sack.

    Sorry - but, the one and only thing I can agree with McCain on is the rights of the child in that woman's body. That baby has just as much a right to live and someone should be able to choose life for that baby.

    Abstinence only education is like teaching kids about horse and carriage.

    The point is that all kids and teens need to be educated about what life with child is like, and ultimately it is the woman's decision as to how to raise the child.

    I wanted to leave a comment about abortion. Before, I was sort of on the fence about whether or not I was pro-life or pro-choice. I, myself, wouldn't have an abortion, but I feel like people should have the right to choose. I am against abortions being used instead of birth control, but for abortions in the case of rape.

    After reading this your article, I realized that I am pro-choice. Your article clarified that for me. John McCain and Sarah Palin don't deserve to take that choice away from the women of America. I can't wait to watch her speech tonight. I hope you will write an article about it. :) I'm glad to see that someone isn't praising her and sees her the way I do. She's definitely not for women's rights. She's just another puppet of the Republican party.
