Menstrual Poetry: Voting for Hillary Just Because She’s a Woman?

  • Hops · 1 year ago
I know it sounds wacky, but I prefer to vote on the issues. I KNOW RIGHT!!

Also, there are a few photos of Hillary Clinton where I think she looks absolutely beautiful. That is def one of them.

As a familiar feminist Hillary Clinton has the right for elections. It doesn't matter that she is a woman. All that has to be seen is whether she is capable for election or not. But i think theres no harm in voting for her.

I vote for individuals based on their capabilities, regardless if they are women or not. I go for people who have absolute knowledge on the job at hand.

a friend of mine and i talked about this. we agreed that she has to much baggage with bill but she could possibly be good. but he made the arguement of "that time of the month" and her taking out a country or two at which point i just walked away and tried not to die laughing.

Wow, Allen has said the same, exact thing on several occasions!

I think I would vote for Hilary just because she's a woman, if I weren't already hypnotized by Obama's charisma.

I've said more than once that voting for a woman just because she's a woman is as wrong as voting against a woman just because she's a woman. The same thing goes for race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or other such status. Candidates should be selected for their qualifications and platform, not personal characteristics.

With regard to blacks, I don't think they are voting for Obama solely because he is black. Most blacks, are Liberals and vote 90% Democrat in national elections.

If Obama were a staunch conservative and running as a Republican, I doubt he would get 90% of the black vote.

Is there some identity politics going on with respect to the black vote and Obama? Sure, but I don't think it is the main factor.

I guess, it's not an issue whether a woman or man, black or white the leader should be. What's important is you have to evaluate the capacity, what he/she can do for the country.

That is one of the best photos I've seen of Hillary. I agree with your views 100%, voting on the issues is more important than anything else! Unfortunately, not many do it.

Voting for a candidate should be based upon their capabilities and experience and what they can do for this country.

At the Texas Caucuses the room was starkly divided - African Americans for Barrack Obama.

I thought, "at least they understand their own bests interests."

Yeah women, feminists especially, shouldn't vote for Hillary because she's a woman . . .I mean it's only 43 white old men to ZERO.

This argument would be great had women got behind a woman candidate even ONE SINGLE TIME.

But, I guess being REPRESENTED was just a passing phase in American feminism. Turns out we don't need it as much as we thought.

Maybe you should vote for a woman because YOU are a woman and your DAUGHTER is a GIRL.

Maybe you should vote for this woman because she's the most qualified candidate.

I don't see any reason why women would vote for a woman just because she is a woman. Maybe some women will do this just because she is a woman, but not many enough to make a difference.
I know I wouldn't vote for a guy just because he is a guy :) I am pretty sure a dog or a cute kitten will be the perfect candidate in this case :)

Has anyone bothered looking into her senate voting record? I will vote for Hillary because she has consistently voted favorably on issues affecting women and children.

@Tracee -- really liked your comments! And it's not like there is any doubt of Hillary's capabilities -- she's an extremely smart and capable woman.

We missed a hell of a chance to fix this country. She could have done it.
but hey all you women were too busy being politically correct to vote for her so what the heck no prob. and it doesn't matter that she's smarter than both the other candidates combined or her history shows helping the underdog we can't risk being nonpc

I find WOMEN at the fore frontiers in every fields, who compete men at ever stage. From the past updated trends I have notice WOMEN do much hardwork and much good results than ever man have done. This is the same case with Hillary. feminists especially, shouldn't vote for Hillary because she's a woman . . .I mean it's only 43 white old men to ZERO. But with a present need is considered.....so to say any thing against time would not be right.

But now today Aug 30th, 2008 as McCain have been at front what can be said ? Do time have favored or the age and experience to play politics.! Can't say? BUT Trust The time do right! !!!
