Menstrual Poetry: Stop Protecting Pedophiles

Talk about irresponsible... The Catholic Church has quite the history of hushing their wrong doings; who knows how many more hundreds of years will it take them to acknowledge that they have problems. Plus, all of these children are definitely in a bigger risk of developing AIDS because: a) they most likely don't know they've been infected, and b) it's extremely difficult for abused children to speak up, so their parents might never have the chance to get them checked-up, thus leaving them untreated.

It's amazing how priests are outcast, relieved from their pastoral duties and punished with excommunication if they fall in love with a woman, yet protect and keep their pedophiliac counterparts. Clearly, their priorities are skewed.

This doesn't come as any surprise to me. In its simplest form, the Church is just another organization with a set power structure. Any such organization will suffer from some form of corruption due to human nature. Someone will always want to do something they aren't supposed to just for the sake of doing it, regardless of who it may harm in the process. Granted, this case is a rather egregious example of said behavioral tendency, but still, the central workings of organized religion can be just as nasty as the upper management of a corporation, regardless of how many rules there are against the activity in question. With that comparison in mind, these corrupt so-called religious leaders ought to be doing 20 to life in prison, perhaps sharing a cell with the latest corporate criminals.

While I've never been a huge fan of the Catholic Church, this is what makes them pure evil in my opinion. There is just too much evidence that they are looking away from this sort of behavior, and that undermines everything else that the entire organization claims to support.

I can't imagine another social setting or group where news of a pedophile would turn into anything less than a full-scale manhunt (outside of NAMBLA, of course).

A big reason why people don’t seek temporary financial assistance from places such as traditional banks, credit unions or credit card companies is the hassle. Whether taking out bank loans or putting whatever debt you’re facing on credit, approval processes are long, drawn out and normally exclude a large portion of the population whose credit history isn’t exactly great. And even if you are approved to borrow money, most of these other avenues won’t lend you small amounts, such as one or two hundred dollars, to hold you over until your next payday or cover the cost of a minor, yet urgent, car repair. When you apply for financial assistance with the help of our company, help is available for more people, with most lenders that we refer you to, never performing credit checks before making an approval decision. Most of the lenders also do not require faxing of documents. It's all quick and easy.
