I totally agree with hating gender based toys. When you give little girls these items the parents are basically preparing them for low-paying menial jobs. If I ever have babies you can bet my little girls are getting a doctors kit for kids,
People just say no to the easy'bake oven :)

Well, the heels are incredibly inane. My gf gets terrible pains in her feet after wearing them, so I asked her not to wear them. She still does sometimes though :/
But giving them to kids who can't yet walk? That's got to be on a chinese-foot-binding level of stupidity.

As for the sewing machines and toy kitchens though, I have a sister who is 5, and all she wants to play with is those. My brother (3), however, plays with both the animals and dinosaurs and trucks that are expected of boys, but plays with his sisters toys as well, while she won't ever go near the 'boys toys'. I'm not entirely sure we can blame culture for everything.

The cooking and sewing tools sound like a practical idea for boys and girls alike. It never hurts to know how to cook or sew--being told you can do nothing else *does* hurt, but the basic knowledge is a good idea.

The high heels for infants? BAD IDEA. That is so screwed up on so many levels that I don't know where to begin.

Now, I do see your point in all of this but have you ever stopped to think that maybe a child wants something like this?
I know many little girls want to be like their mom's. If they see mom cooking (which isn't always done because its tradition -_-) they will want to help. So let them pretend with a fake stove and plates. They see mom wearing heels, they try to wear their mom's heels but they are obviously too big. What is the harm in letting them have a pair to wear for fun or on special occasions?
Dolls are often ways to show children to care for or love other things. There is definitely no harm in that. I know I want my children to be loving towards everything. Maybe these things are character building.

Yes, some things are too extreme like the pants with Juicy or the Hooter's shirts but these other things are just for fun.

oh joy! we get high heels for little kids now! just another reason for pedos to attack! we fucking invite them. this goes into the same catagory as the pants for the 7 year olds that have the word "juicy" across the butt in big lettering...and the hooters shirts, and every little thing we do to advertise children as sex toys! fun! (note the heavy sarcasm)
