Menstrual Poetry: PETA Uses Girls in Bikinis to Draw Attention to Their Cause

PETA heads have been convicted of burning down animal shelters and killing leaving all of the animals inside to die. This is one of a long list of PETA insanity accounts that have ruined their name and mission 100% for me and many other animal lovers. PETA is nothing more than a group of heartstring pullers attempting to gain money for themselves. Much like the Catholic church. Disgusting and upsetting how a good idea can turn into something so bad.

I'm conflicted with some of PETA's methods, as well, but I'm also sceptical to believe everything I hear about them, due to the rampant speciecism in most cultures. I can't say I would advocate for complete dismissal of all of their actions, though, just because some are unfavourable.

Then we should think the same of how we get our food to eat and not allow PETA at all.

I participated in the protest; one of the girls in the cage. And I agree with you. PETA may not do the right things; but they are doing something. Just like us girls; we wanted to get a message across. None of us took it as an opportunity to show off or being provocative, but more as a way of informing others and help get an important message across. Some may view it as us all asking you to give up eggs and never eat meat; but no way! Its about giving Chickens and other animals proper care prior to them giving us their products. This is a very important issue regardless of PETA putting girls in cages or not. People need to see through the media and stereotypes and grasp the real messages.

It is easy to see why PETA gathers attention. I don't know if they are doing this the right way because passers by are not always thinking about the cause...

I think passers won't even notice the egg shaped signs.. lol! But I admit the strategy to draw attention is great!

I think passers won't even notice the egg shaped signs.. lol! But I admit the strategy to draw attention is great!Well, ultimately, sex sells and grabs the most attention. I don't agree with PETA using this method but at least men, i mean, people do take a few seconds to stop and take a look.

First, I wouldn't even notice why they are in cages. I would later ask myself that, but then its just too late to get the message.

Second, what I read 2 weeks ago changed my opinion on PETA. Those are few guys at top who started this for money. They know that there are plenty of people who care and that they can use that to muster an army to fight for them, so they will get money. It's just politics, but hidden a bit.

The other side of the coin is the idea that the only/most effective way to get a man;s interest is through sex. It's depressing. What happened to appealing to the human trait of being able to act outside of our base impulses?

These protests really create a buzz for PETA. I hope they continue using pretty girls for animal rights. I know I would do my part and show off my body for animal rights!
