I sat here for the last hour and a half and watched the debate. Whilst not an American, being British I'm keeping a close eye on the election as not only does it have an effect on Americans but a direct effect on the Brits (due to close affiliations) and to the whole world, really, when you consider the sheer political and (usual) economic strength of the US.
Thank you very much for posting the videos up, in order, for people like me to watch! I personally do have an opinion on who I would like to win the election, and to see the debate further solidified that in my mind.
I particularly love some of your previous entries about Palin, whom I find to be petrifying. Not petrifying in the sense she actually intimidates me, but that her policies and ideas are the complete opposite to mine, and that it will be a sad day for the world if McCain gets elected. Whilst I would love to see a woman become the Vice President of the United States (well, I'd prefer President, to be honest :P) I would rather it not be her.

Oh my God, you're so not kidding. Every time McCain opened his mouth the most incredible sprawling non-answers just started spilling out. I kept thinking, "Is he really debating, or am I having a weird dream?"
I guess that's not fair, he did answers a couple of questions, untruthfully.

"I can see Russia from my house, they're my neighbors." WHAT! Palin is the female version of Bush. S Palin completely danced around the question on what she thought of the "Bailout" and I'm not surprised. With McCain and his "you don't know what you're talking about" and now Palin NOT knowing what she's talking about I can see these two are a perfect fit. Complete comedy. No, but seriously, I sincerely hope come November people put aside they're political party and vote for an intelligent candidate b/c we need one.
