  • I love your domain name!

I hope McCain doesn't become president. It's really a slippery slope between appearing to protect rights and trying to take them away... it is scary to see how some states interpret this act. I thought McCain was pro embryonic stem cell research? And I doubt he'd be in opposition to IVF, where many of the embryos are never brought to term... so it seems stupid that he would want try to define them as human.
  • This is true how you described it, they think that after getting pregnant a woman is an incubator for the baby. A while back Catholic groups started a campaign against Amnesty because Amnesty wanted to protect the pregnant victims of rape and give them the choice to abort. How can they say that the fetus has rights as a human and the mother (even if she is very young and victim of rape) doesn't have any rights?
  • This is interesting, I was always under the assumption that McCain was pro-choice and enjoyed that republicans on the right and evangelicals had a hard time with him. But I guess I was wrong on that, thanks for posting this!
  • God, I hate that... twit. Why, why, why do MEN think they have the right to do this?
  • In response to the quote from Kate Michelman: Did you even bother to read the Unborn Victims of Violence Act? You will see that it says, "Nothing in this section shall be construed to permit the prosecution- (1) of any person for conduct relating to an abortion for which the consent of the pregnant woman, or a person authorized by law to act on her behalf, has been obtained or for which such consent is implied by law; (2) of any person for any medial treatment of the pregnant woman or her unborn child; or (3) of any woman with respect to her unborn child." This law is not intended to interfere or overturn a woman's right to choose. I believe in a woman's right to choose. But I also believe in bringing justice to the person who killed my friend's daughter and unborn grandson. We grieve for them both, not just one.
  • why do MEN think they have the right to do this? because they are men
