Menstrual Poetry: Just Name One Newspaper! Any Newspaper!

    Far be it from me to defend Sarah Palin, but my impression of this clip was a bit different.

    I didn't take her response to mean that she didn't read at all. Rather, she's probably been scared silly by her campaign staff into expecting a hidden agenda lurking inside each question, so her answer just indicated how she was trying to figure out Katie's angle. She spent so long trying to figure out *why* Couric was asking her the question that she couldn't process an answer.

    I think there are a million other reasons to dislike this candidate and her policies, but in my mind this isn't one of them.

    Can you imagine what the US will be like if she is office, we will all be professionals on winking when we speak! ugh!

    She is such an embarrassment. I agree, just naming a local paper would have been fine. Even if she never did read it -- wait, she does know how to read, right? But to say "all of them" without specifying makes her look like a total moron.
