This is really infuriating. Attitudes about women need to change before this will stop. Women do not belong to men; men are not entitled to women. What's going on in a man's head when he shoots a woman for something like this is incomprehensible to me.

Men do stupid behavior all the time, especially ones about my age, but that's beside the point here. This is criminal activity, and honestly it doesn't surprise me. Which is probably why i don't associate much with other men in my age group. I just don't understand this sort of behavior, and it's not OK that it's going on. Women don't go around doing things like this to get the attention of men, so I don't see why this should be going on the other way around. Everyone's got a purpose of some sort, and everybody's essentially the same regardless of gender, so they should all be offered the same level of respect.

But like was said, it's the US and we're unfortunately a country that favors men. Which is stupid because it's been men that have made this such a horrible place to be growing up. Things could be a lot different perhaps if we could bring some "other" people into the leadership picture, including women, minorities, and people of middle- and working-class background. This country and this world shouldn't be left in the hands of rich white men that are doing a great job of rapidly destroying it with their aggressive, selfish rule.

Ugh! These are the men that give other men that stellar reputation. They're so set in one-upping their buddies that they lose all sensibility towards women.

I totally agree with this point as violence against the women is constantly increasing despite of so many measures taken by the government and even the people should think about this and there should be be enlightenment coming from the society on this.

That is so awful. While we don't have as many gun-related instances of harassment of women, however, I'm afraid the UK is also terrible for women being harassed, not just the US. It just seems to be overlooked. When women have to be on guard 24/7, something is seriously wrong...

I agree that women get harassed always. Is this because men think they are stronger than men? Actually, men are really stronger physically than women but I hope it won't cause them to think to harass women whenever they want.
