Menstrual Poetry: I Would Suggest that Cindy McCain Change Shoes with Any Middle Class American

  • Stuperb · 1 year ago
Excellent post. This outraged me as well - especially because of McCain's vote against the Webb GI bill. His insulting reason was that making college too attractive will harm our military retention rates. It's appalling.

I totally don't understand how "supporting the troops" equals "making them fight a war no one believes in until they all die." The McCain campaign is exactly like in the book 1984 where the government just makes it up as they go along, and people eat it up because they're oppressed or idiots or both.

Why are Republican women so much more badass/interesting than their male counterparts? I mean, no way would I vote for Palin (through McCain) and no way do I agree with Cindy McCain's assertions in her speech at the RNC.

I think Cindy Mccain should go live in Iraq for a week.

Cindy McCain's own "fund my son" statements turned against her

It's unfortunate that with all the information we recieve regarding the candidates people will believe what they want. Even if a candidate has been proven wrong nobody cares because they're going to vote for who their going to vote for. So, what does this all mean? I'm wouldn't be surprised if we had another Bush / Kerry / Florida incident.

As ever there is this strange psychological phenomenon at play here wherein voters form opinions based upon preconceived ideas and heresay rather than hard fact. Cindy McCain's attempt to garner support from military families has clearly backfired.

Politics at its finest as always, you just don't know who to believe half the time. It's hard to tell who's twisted what.

Somebody should make a list of the bills that both Obama and McCain voted for and against during their terms in the Senate. This will let the people know who to choose and who is telling the truth.

IF only there was a first lady debate between Michelle Obama and Cindy McCain.

Obama said it right. Our good men and women are doing the job they shouldn't do. I hope this will change soon.

People like the McCains can never relate to poor people because they have never been poor. It is such a simple thing. Cindy McCain annual income is more than most will make in a lifetime. I simply cannot understand why people cannot understand that the wealthy do not have our best interests at heart. Their only interest is in preserving their wealth.

oh and obama buying into the fake kill him story is any better? I like how you nitpick one comment made by cindy mccain but barack obama lying doesnt get a mention? and john mccain does not know how many houses he has because they are not his houses.

I wouldn't worry too much about Cindy McCain - you won't hear anything of her again when they lose the election in November, as it''s looking increasingly likely they will do.

Lets face it, if the Democrats can't win this election they may as well give up on politics and become a lawn tennis club

So what will prevent them from winning? Firstly, race. It's clear that this won't be clear until the results as a lot of people will simply not admit that they won't vote for a black person.

The second, is a terrorist attack. What's the betting the Bin Laden releases a recording between now and election day? Or, perhaps, an outrage takes place on American soil?

I second the motion on everything, even with just the very title of this piece. I don't see see how a woman who's never experienced what it's like to be middle class would ever understand the needs of the middle class.

hmm... I'm not so sure of who to do for to be honest!

Obama does seem good but is that just hope & change? And hope doesn't really get us anywhere... hardwork does.

you couldn't have said it better, she should try and change shoes with any middle class citizen; let her see things from that perspective...

Thanks for the excellent post. Sometimes I am tired of listening about politics. Most of the politicians are not honest.

So if you're wealthy you don't have a right to be concerned about your deployed son, or to voice it? By the way, the Obama's and the Biden's are millionaires, too. The only people in this race who are not millionaires are the Palins! So why is Sarah Palin castigated when the RNC buys her campaign clothes because she doesn't have and can't afford the wardrobe that all the other millionaires in this race wear? (And ALL the political elites in Wash DC wear, also)? Oh, I guess if you're a Republican it doesn't matter whether you're rich or middle class - just shut your mouth and get out of the way of the coronation of the pure-as-driven-snow-always-right-never-ever-lies-will-make everything-perfect messiah Obama.

You are disgusting and are clearly full of class envy. You don't understand that Cindy's father gave up everything to start a business that turned out to be successful. It is the American dream. You also have no clue how much work Cindy McCain has done for the poor in our country and others. She even adopted an orphan. She has done more than you could ever hope and this blog is an embarrassment.

Where are the "chicken hawk" cries? Oh, thats right...can't say that anymore because the entire republican ticket has sons serving in iraq. You are soooo full of it.

What I cannot get is how so many people buy into the patently false crap. Is it gullibility, stupidity or just blind faith.
